Which system suits my terrace?

The first question is whether the roof or the sides are to be closed. There are three roof options: on a bioclimatic pergola the louvres rotate, on a motorised pergola awning a three-layer PVC blackout cover retracts, and on a Rolling Roof moving panels are drawn back.

On the sides, glass can slide horizontally (sliding glass), stack at the side (folding glass) or move vertically (guillotine glass); if you do not want glass, a zip screen gives shade and privacy. If the aim is a heated, enclosed room, a winter garden solution is considered.

What is the roof of a motorised pergola awning, and can it be used in rain?

A three-layer waterproof PVC blackout cover forms the moving roof. The rain conditions of a project are assessed from the slope, the edge joints and the drainage detail.

What is the difference between a bioclimatic pergola and a motorised pergola awning?

The roof of a bioclimatic pergola is made of rotating aluminium louvres. On a motorised pergola awning the roof is a three-layer PVC blackout cover that opens and retracts by motor. They are separate mechanisms; which suits you is assessed from how the space will be used.

Does guillotine glass open completely?

The panels move vertically and gather at the top or bottom depending on the model. We show the clear open area in the project drawing.

What is the difference between folding glass and sliding glass?

Sliding panels move sideways on the track; folding panels stack at the side. The clear space left when open depends on the system and the project dimensions.

What is needed to heat and use the space in winter?

For heated use, the roof, glass, profiles, floor, airtightness and ventilation are assessed as a whole.

Why is there no ready price list?

Every project differs in dimensions, system type, profile section, level of automation and installation conditions. Two installations of the same area can cost noticeably differently because of access difficulty and structural requirements. A firm price follows from your measurements and project details.

How do I get a quote?

Send us the measurements and a few photos of the space, or book a video consultation. We prepare a 3D design and an itemised quotation. If you do not approve it, nothing is owed.

What affects the price most?

The choice of system. There is a several-fold cost difference between a zip screen and a winter garden. Once the system is settled, the size and span, profile wall thickness, level of automation, lighting and installation conditions follow in that order.

Are your products under warranty?

Warranty scope and periods are stated per product and component in the written quotation and the warranty document.

How is it maintained?

Maintenance follows the operating and care instructions of the product chosen; the instructions are handed over with the system.

On a motorised pergola awning, the roof cover is looked after according to the instructions in the data sheet of the cover.

Who provides after-sales support?

The team that installed your system. You reach the same people with any technical need, and we also offer periodic maintenance.

Is building permission required?

Permit and notification requirements depend on the project and on local regulations where it is built.

If an enclosed room is being created — a winter garden, for example — we recommend confirming with the local authority before work starts.

How long does installation take?

It depends on the system, the dimensions and the ground conditions. A standard residential terrace installation is usually finished in one to two days. Glass systems are mostly done in a single day. The exact duration is stated in your quotation.

Can the sides of my existing pergola be closed later?

In most cases yes, but the load-bearing sections and connection points of the existing structure have to be examined. A zip screen is the easiest addition; glass systems demand a stronger structure. We assess the existing structure from photos and, if needed, a video consultation.

Do you manufacture in your own workshop?

Yes. We manufacture in our own workshop and install with our own team, including projects abroad. That keeps both production quality and after-installation support in one pair of hands.

What materials do you use?

Load-bearing systems use aluminium profiles with an electrostatic powder-coated finish. The glass and profile section are chosen for the span, the safety requirement and the selected model.

The conformity and test documents that apply to the product are shared at the quotation stage.

Do you deliver and install abroad?

Yes. We manufacture every system in our own workshop, ship it and install it with our own installation team, wherever the project is.

How can you quote without visiting the site?

We work from the measurements and photos you send, with a video consultation when needed, to review the space, the mounting points and the local wind load. The 3D design and the itemised quotation are prepared from that information.

Who installs the system?

Our own team, the same people who build the systems. We do not hand installation over to subcontractors. For projects abroad, transport and travel for the installation team appear as separate items in the quotation.
